Huddersfield Sports Centre Dojo Re-Location.

From the 9th November 2005 the combat room at Huddersfield Sports Centre will be relocated to the side of the large swimming pool.

Sensei Cottier Course.

Most of you all should now know that we have Sensei Ken Cottier Shihan teaching at the December course to be held at Wakefield City High School. If you are new to the association or have never trained with Shihan Cottier then please click here for more information.

There will be only Yudansha gradings taking place on the day, however for Kyu grades wishing to take examination this time, those gradings will take place at the Tuesday night class 13/12/05.

Please note that you MUST attend the Shihan Cottier course if you are requiring examination. You will be watched and assessed on the day as part of your grading. If you do not attend the Shihan Cottier course, you will be asked to wait until the April gradings.

Please go down the usual channels of putting your name down for examination. Your first option is obviously to tell your club instructor, otherwise you may inform Ashley and your name can be forwarded that way or you can fill out the online grading request form. Your request for examination should be in no later than 2 weeks prior to the grading date. Failure to do so will result in refusal to grade this time. This deadline is in place to give Jackie sufficient time to process the administration for those who are taking examination.

For those who are grading, there is an online grading syllabus located at the bottom left of this page for you to refer to.

Online Class Schedule.

I would like to thank everyone who is making good use of the Online Class Schedule. It is working very well seeing a vast increase in students attending Sensei Maloney's weapons classes.

Also as an addition to our schedule, I have been asked by the White Rose Northeast to include a schedule for them as well.

All schedule's will be kept well upto date so please carry on refering to them for the class information.

New Photo Page.

I have added a new photo page to the website. In these categories there will be photo's of courses and drinks evenings.

These will be updated as soon as I can get the pictures off the people taking them. Sensei Riley's 30th anniversay photo's are to come along with the Sensei Ezra course pictures so please keep checking for updates.

White Rose T-Shirts.

If you have not yet ordered your new club t-shirt then this month is your last chance to do so. You can order them after class with either your club instructor or Ashley. There is also a (Put your name down) form via the contents page.

Baseball Caps.

I have been to collect the baseball caps, however, when I saw them they were incorrectly done. As a result they have been sent back for redoing.

I expect them back on 12/11/05. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

It seems that Gi's and Belts are becoming quite popular for embroidery within the White Rose whether it be a black or white belt.
