How important is taking grade examinations to the overall development of a persons Aikido?

What is your opinion on Aikido clubs which don't teach weapons?

I have never felt the need to practice Aikido elsewhere.
How did you first become involved in Aikido?

I practised Judo for 4/5 years and first saw Aikido on a BBC programme called ' The way of the warrior '.
I took my two children to junior Judo at batley sports centre. The class following Judo was Aikido.
The instructor was Sensei Riley. I joined.
