Started Aikido in 1985 aged 38 previous to this I was a semi pro footballer,
and at a much younger age was a yorkshire squad swimmer also playing
water polo for Brighouse.
In 1990 I was presented with my shodan (1st dan) and given the opportunity
to teach the wednesday night class at Huddersfield sports centre. In february
this will be my 20 year anniversary.
Having trained under all the white rose instructors present and past and attending
many courses with visiting instructors, I should be nearly getting it right!

I am 62 years of age and hold the rank of 4th Dan
